Mobile Projectors: Automatic Correction of Keystone Effects and Hand Jitter

Mobile projectors solve the limited display and interaction space on small mobile devices. The java framework combines infrared camera, accelerometer and gyroscope data of a Wii Remote to reduce keystone effects and hand jitter in the projected image. An Objective-C video player is implemented as example application to show the importance and usage of the framework.

**System overview:** (1) Wii remote including accelerometer and gyroscope; (2) mobile projector; (3) infrared beacon with four LEDs; (4) processing unit; (5) java framework for pose estimation; and (6) visualized application.

The project was part of my Bachelorthesis at TU Darmstadt during the summer term 2010. The project was supervised by Jochen Huber.
